Bio
Malik Stevenson is an instructor for the English Language Training Academy. He has 6 years of ESL teaching experience; ranging from early education students to adult/college level students. Currently, Malik is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Linguistics at Georgetown University with an expected graduation in May of 2024. His research explores intersections between bilingual education and gentrification in the DC metro area. His primary focus is advocating for education policies that are shaped by the voices of and lived experiences of Black and Brown communities.
