Bio
Ashley has over a decade of experience in International Education and has traveled, studied, and worked abroad in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. Ashley’s love for exploring the world was inspired by her Oma, who left The Netherlands with her Opa after World War II and proceeded to travel across the globe.
After studying abroad in the UK, Ashley started her professional career in International Education by teaching ESL in South Korea, where her love for cultural exchange truly blossomed and inspired her to pursue her MA in International Studies while teaching in China.
Prior to joining AU in July 2023, Ashley worked for several universities and language schools in the Northern Virginia area, focusing on providing immigration advising and programming to international students.
