Bio
Babita Das joined the ASC staff in 2007 as the writing mentor for freshmen in the Learning Services Program (LSP), and currently works as a counselor for LSP students. Babita is also a doctoral candidate in the Behavior, Cognition, and Neuroscience (BCaN) program in the Department of Psychology and conducts graduate student research in the Behavioral Pharmacology and Health Promotions Laboratory (http://www1.american.edu/academic.depts/cas/psych/bphp/). Prior to coming to AU, she worked as a research assistant for the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, the Bronx Veterans Medical Research Foundation, and Friends Research Institute, and served as a tutor and Supplemental Instructor in writing and psychology at Shippensburg University.
