Lakeisha has been in education for over 17 years working with K-12 students. She has supported students as a special education teacher and school administrator. Prior to coming to American University, she was an academic advisor for students at Montgomery College. Originally, from Cleveland, Ohio, Lakeisha loves the DC area for the variety of cultures, events, dining, and shopping.
