Bio
Dr. Bailey is a Board-certified adult psychiatrist. She is originally from South Florida, but attended medical school at George Washington University and completed her post-baccalaureate pre-medical work here at AU. After medical school, Dr. Bailey completed her residency training at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services in Grand Rapids, MI, where she was also chief resident during her last year of training. Here, she completed research focused on prescribing trends and long-term outcomes for children and adolescents diagnosed with Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder. Dr. Bailey also has a background in forensic psychiatry and worked for the Commonwealth of Virginia as a forensic psychiatrist prior to coming to the Student Health Center.
Dr. Bailey is very excited to be back on campus and can be seen exploring the new buildings around campus when she has time. Outside of work, she enjoys baking and doing craft projects.
