In September 2023, the Office of the Provost released data on AU faculty salaries and administrative growth in response to a request from the Faculty Senate Working Group on Faculty Engagement. 

I write to bring your attention to the publication of the 2023–2024 Academic Data Reference Book (ADRB), which contains updated information on full-time faculty salaries along with American Association of University Professors (AAUP) comparisons (rating and percentile) by category and academic rank (see page 140 or visit this link to review the salary tables). You can also refer to section 6 of the ADRB for further detail on AU’s faculty composition. In addition, this resource provides useful data on student enrollment, retention, and graduation.
