Dr. Amarendra Sharma is an economist with over two decades of teaching experience in economics. He has held academic positions at Miami University, Elmira College, University of Tampa, American University, and The University of Maryland-Global Campus. He has published many articles in peer-reviewed economics journals and conference proceedings. Dr. Sharma has presented his research papers at numerous conferences. His past research has focused on issues from Development Economics, Public Economics, International Economics, Sports Economics, Industrial Organization, Labor Economics, and Education Economics. Amarendra has been listed in Who’s Who in the World and Who’s Who in America. He earned his Ph.D. in economics from the University of Cincinnati. His doctoral dissertation was the first of its kind on the Economics of Internet Search Engines. He has also received master’s degrees in economics from the University of Cincinnati and the Delhi School of Economics, respectively, and a bachelor’s degree in economics with honors from Ramjas College, University of Delhi. He lives in Ithaca, NY.
