Julie Greene Collier, Deputy Chief of Staff, AFL-CIO

Julie Greene Collier has more than 15 years of experience in political campaigning, labor, management and civic engagement to leverage strategic relationships among institutions, groups and influencers for positive social change. As Deputy Chief of Staff, she continues the work of the AFL-CIO to support unions, their workers and allies in fights for higher wages, decent benefits and a voice at work so all working people can enjoy a better life. As Director of the Mobilization Hub, Greene Collier worked with leaders and staff to develop, execute, and align mobilization and outreach programs across multiple hubs and resource centers, campaigns and affiliates.

With a professional background in grassroots campaigning, Greene Collier has worked in the field at every level including working on campaigns, running national campaign trainings for allies, and working at the Democratic National Committee. She previously worked for the AFL-CIO for seven years in the Political department as Deputy Political director. 

Born and raised in Cleveland OH, Greene Collier spends her free time rooting for all Cleveland professional sports teams. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, Law, Economics & Government from American University.
