Dear Students,

As midterms approach and the pace of academics accelerates, we want to make sure that all students have access to the tools needed to succeed in the online environment and are aware of resources and supports.

One important resource is tech support to assist students with moderate or high financial needs.

If you or someone you know has challenges with technology needs due to moving online, here are some of the supports available for students:

• Receive a stipend for internet access;
• Borrow computer equipment, packaged and sent to students at no cost;
• Find assistance with software licenses;
• Receive advice on multimedia equipment.

If you are in need of these supports or others, please email techtaskforce@american.edu. Many departments are working together to make it possible for all students, no matter where you’re located or what your financial situation may be, to access the technology needed to succeed in the current semester.
