Faculty policy permits numerical ranking of Juris Doctor students only upon their graduation from the law school. However, the Law School Registrar's Office estimates class standing by percentile range calculated from the upper half of each class at the end of each year of study. Estimated class standing for full-time and part-time students is calculated separately.
We provide a chart that contains percentile ranges calculated for first year law students as well as percentile ranges for estimation of class standing for continuing law students.
