Domestic Dual Degree Programs

You can apply to a dual degree program as an entering first-year full-time student or during your first year of law school.

JD/MA in International Affairs Earn your JD from the Washington College of Law and an MA in International Affairs from the AU School of International Service.

JD/MBA Program: Law and Business The JD/MBA program at WCL provides an excellent opportunity for students who desire to combine skills and develop expertise in both law and business.

JD/MPA: Law and Public Administration AU's Washington College of Law and the School of Public Affairs (SPA) jointly offer a dual degree program designed for students interested in examining the integral relationship of law to public administration and management.

JD/MPP: Law and Public Policy This unique combination of degrees is especially designed for students intending to use their law degrees in the political, government or non-profit realms.

JD/MS: Law and Justice This graduate program has been rated among the nation's top three justice-related programs in the area of scholarly faculty publications.

International Dual Degree Programs

Our International JD Dual Degree programs are open to WCL students only and you must have completed at least one semester of law school at WCL.

Canada: JD/JD This JD/JD program is offered jointly by WCL and the University of Ottawa Faculty of Law, Common Law Section.

France: JD/Master 1/Master 2 This JD/JD-equivalent program is offered jointly by WCL and the Université Paris Ouest Nanterre la Défense.

Italy: JD/First Level Master in Int'l, Comparative and EU Law This JD/LLM program is offered jointly by WCL and the Libera Universita Internazionale Degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli (LUISS) (Rome).

Spain: JD/LLM (Master en Derecho de law Union Europea) This JD/LLM program is offered jointly by WCL and the Universidad Carlos III (Madrid).

Spain: JD/Master's Degree in Int'l and European Business Law This JD/LLM program is offered jointly by WCL and the Universidad Pontificia Comillas (Madrid).
