Newman Prize
Established by David B. Newman, Jr. (‘83) and Kathryn Riley Newman in 1995, this prize is awarded to a student who enrolled in and excelled in a Criminal Trial Advocacy class. Students are nominated by the Advocacy Program’s Criminal Trial Advocacy adjunct faculty and selected by a committee based on the nominating faculty member’s provided information, the students’ commitment to criminal law, and excellence in trial advocacy.
