Bio

Professor Raskin has served as an Adjunct Professor of Law at WCL since August 2022.  She is licensed to practice law in Washington, DC and Pennsylvania.  Ms. Raskin retired from the federal government after a 30 year career with the Bureau of Prisons in which 20 of her years were spent as the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Officer.  At the Bureau, she created the agency-wide ADR and Diversity programs.  Ms. Raskin has mediated hundreds of workplace disputes through the federal government’s shared neutrals program and both the Washington, DC and Philadelphia District Offices of the EEOC.  Ms. Raskin has provided training to hundreds of government employees in conflict resolution skills, communication skills and Civil Treatment for Managers.  Ms. Raskin served as an adjunct law professor teaching Mediation Advocacy at Catholic Law School for seven years.  Ms. Raskin serves on the American Arbitration Association’s panel for Consumer Disputes, the CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals for the International Institute for Conflict Prevention and Resolution and is a CEDR (Center for Effective Dispute Resolution) Accredited Mediator.  Currently, Ms. Raskin works as an EEO Investigator and Mediator for Resolution Services LLC.  She also is a certified provider of sexual harassment prevention training to restaurants in the DC area.
