Professor Sean Flynn Presented at Cambridge Conference on IP and AI

PIJIP Director Sean Flynn presented a paper on how AI is transforming research exceptions at the University of Cambridge’s annual conference of the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Law. The conference, chaired by Sir Richard Arnold (Lord Justice of Appeal), featured scholarship on (i) what AI reveals about existing law; and (ii) how AI might be changing IP, altering the legal tests with which we have become familiar, as well as the assumptions that underlie them – and what the implications might be.
