Eagle Access Opt-Out & Bill Waiver Processing Schedule

Students who choose to opt out of (or opt back into) the Program will have their bill adjustments processed based on the date of their submission. Please review the timelines below to understand when changes will appear in your student account.

Weekly Processing Cycle

  • The university processes all opt-out / opt-in submissions each Thursday.
  • Opt-out fee waivers are posted to student accounts each Friday.
  • Opt-back-in fee applications are posted to student accounts each Friday.

Important notes that can impact a fee waiver

  • If a student has picked up any print materials, those items must be returned before an opt-out can be successfully processed.
  • After opting out, if a student adds a new course during the add/drop period, they will need to opt-out for that course in the portal.
  • If you opt out after picking up print materials, or if you drop a class while still opted in and do not return the materials, you will be charged a non‑return fee.
  • You can also opt back in using the same portal before the deadline.

The following table provides clear deadlines for when bill adjustments will appear, based on when students submit their opt-out or opt-back-in request.
