Dear AU Community,

As we continue to wait for further notice from the District of Columbia Water and Sewer Authority (DC Water) regarding the water boil advisory issued yesterday, American University Campus Dining has obtained 54 cases of bottled water for distribution to the campus community.

Bottled water may be picked up at MGC First Floor, outside the OneCard office by a representative from your department. Please limit to one case per department, as we procure additional quantities of bottled water. We will notify the campus community as more bottled water becomes available. If you are not able to come to the pick-up location, please contact 2Fix (202-885-2349) to have it delivered to you. 

We encourage all members of the AU community in the affected areas – including the main campus of American University, the Washington College of Law, and 4200 Wisconsin Ave. –to follow the precautionary guidance offered and boil water used to drink, brush your teeth, or prepare meals. When boiling, bring water to a rolling boil for one minute, then allow to cool. Avoid using drinking fountains.
