Dear AU Community,

We want to let you know that the Facilities Management team has contracted third-party engineering consultants to conduct a detailed inspection of the electrical transformers and underground electrical vaults on campus. The purpose of the inspection is to help the engineers complete their design for a replacement transformer and to repair the existing underground concrete vault. 

The inspection will result in planned electrical outages at the following locations:

Wednesday, October 16 

5 – 7:30 a.m.
Battelle-Tompkins

Thursday, October, 17

5 – 7:30 a.m.
Kay Spiritual Life Center and northern portion of the Kogod building

During the inspection, emergency power systems will not be affected.
