Dear AU Community,

We want to provide an update to the community on the continuing work of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers. The project's final phase will begin on September 5, and is expected to be completed by the spring-summer 2024.

The site is located at the south side of campus near Fletcher Gate, and once the work is completed, that location will be green space for use by the AU community. The work will commence in the morning hours and conclude by 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. The possibility of noise and increased truck traffic in the Fletcher Gate can be expected.

We will provide regular updates on the progress of the activities. For specific questions, please contact Daniel Noble of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.
