Presentations, Reception, and an Open House

Please join SOE faculty members at 4:00 p.m. on September 27 as they discuss methods to cope with stress, and the benefits of college in the 21^st century. The presentations will be followed by a reception and open house to meet other students, families, and SOE faculty and staff. Everyone is welcome to attend.

• Presentation 1: The Relationship Between Sesame Street, Stress, and Wellness
  Dr. Kenjus Watson will explore how stress-induced biological dysregulation affects students and educators and how healing-centered educational practices can help counter these impacts, fostering resilience and well-being.
• Presentation 2: Why College Still Matters, and How It Can Matter More
  Dr. Jennifer Steele will talk about why college still matters in the 21^st century and how it needs to pivot to create a more just world.
