These areas include Undergraduate Admissions, Financial Aid, Operations, and Enrollment Marketing and Communications.
Undergraduate Enrollment includes recruitment and admission efforts for first-year and transfer applicants to AU.
The Office of Financial Aid helps students access the resources to afford an AU education. A staff of financial aid counselors work individually with students to help them navigate the financial aid system and find the best options.
This team is dedicated to ensuring that all prospective undergraduate applicants and their families have the best information and visit experiences possible as they consider American University. It includes the Admissions Welcome Center, the Admissions Call Center, smaller on-campus prospective student events, and all inbound and outbound mass communications to prospective undergraduates and their families and admitted incoming students, including the First-Year Student Checklist
Enrollment Operations covers areas related to fiscal, budget, personnel, and fulfillment; undergraduate document and data processing; financial aid application processing; management systems; computer hardware and software; and physical plant operations.
