The moderator was Claudia Martín, Co-Director of the Academy of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law at AUWCL; and the panelists were Carlos Ayala, Mariclaire Acosta, Ariela Peralta, Sergia Calván, and Edison Lanza, all members of the Independent Panel to evaluate candidates for the organs of the IACHR.
